How many more must be taken?

As most of you already know, Anna's body has been found. There is a rumor that her body was discovered in the same condition as that of Athena's.

I am not sure how true this is, but it has thrown nothing but more questions before me. Who could do such a thing? Why? What did she do to deserve this? I am beginning to think that maybe Caine was right, maybe there is a war brewing. Maybe our soul purpose in life is to die, and maybe the Great One takes satisfaction in our destruction.

I don't know what to believe anymore.
